perrier, like the water

So my roommate is a jewelry designer, which means she’s got a big ole desk covered in welding/melding tools, fire-breathing machines, toxic dyeing mixtures, and scrap metals. Occasionally I hear sawing, steaming, clanking, and hammering…but I very rarely hear shrieking. Especially one followed by a dull murmur and several “Ow”s. Tonight’s Adventure of Kitty and Croissant (part 6): Kitty Clamps her Kitty.

While using heavy duty pliers to weld together some…thing, the metal snapped, and the base of the handles viciously pulled together and latched down onto her hoohah. To paint a more vivid picture: Essentially, her vajayjay was pinched by an angry, rubber crab. That hollowed silver tube necklace better be worth the bruises, Kat! Up the price on that one for history sake. Onto Birds, where we will proceed to get belligerently drunk this fine Saturday. The Celebratory reasoning? SCOOTY’S FIXED!!!

Diaries of a Jewelry Maker

Good Morning, Darlings! I have returned — after a rather unnecessary break! HOWEVER; home was wonderful. My sister graduated, I caught up with some old friends I haven’t seen in much too long, and I got to breathe in the most pure air in the world. I love being surrounded by forests. Upon landing, I received a rather brief and nonchalant message asking to head over to the Van Halen concert that evening. After nabbing Kitty and some Taco Bell post-work, we headed to one of the most epic concerts I’ll ever attend. Diamond Dave pulled all the stops in his sequined pants, and EVH blew my face off with his guitar skills. Thus, now I am preparing for my first day at job 2! Bring on the work! In only 8 days  I’ll be reunited with the other half of my heart that’s stretched across the other side of the planet. Bring it on.
